



Patricia Bruno-Escobar graduated from City University of New York Law School in 1995 and was admitted to practice Law in California in 1996. She has a strong background in family law and social work. She has worked in the public interest arena for over 20 years. She started her career as a social worker in the Bronx, New York helping abused women and children find hope and safety. Her years as a social worker led her to law school where she hoped to become a more effective advocate for families in crisis. Ms. Bruno-Escobar realized this dream and later became the Legal Program Director for Sor Juana Ines Services for Abused Woman (a San Mateo based domestic violence agency). She now continues her work as a dedicated advocate in private practice.
Patricia Bruno-Escobar is a member of the State Bar of California, the San Mateo County Bar Association, Collaborative Practice of San Mateo County, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and is a former Vice-President of the Peninsula La Raza Lawyers Association. Ms. Bruno Escobar is a Fee Arbitrator for the San Mateo County Bar Association. She is also a certified mediator and earned her certification at UC Berkeley. She is currently a mediator for the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center.
